This Egyptian guard woke up :yawn: by the sound of my camera the second after I took this shot. I took another one... He winked at me and smiled:).
Our Swedish guide observed this event and laughed quietly as he walked towards him and then asked; "Are you allowed to sleep at your watch?". I didn't get the answer, but the guide laughed again.

Nice piece and story man, at least if he did believe you had stolen his soul he didn't run after you to try to get it back.....now that would've been a photo....;)

yeah i am egyptian there's no such thing as taking people's soul :D It kinda sounds fun though lol. Nice shot and by they way, that what all egyptian policemen do :D They just sleep all day long lol.

Wow, amazing story bro :) however, did it ever cross your mind that the tour guide, viewed you as just a stupid tourist, and was taking that piss at you!!! i'm Egyptian man, was born muslim, there's no such crap like that....

Ur photos are impressive though, don't believe everything you hear ;)

Thanks and what? This was the most kind, truthful guy I've met. Hmm... he can't go round and tell lies to his tourists? Maybe it's just to make things more exciting for himself :). I'm not going to change the text though, this is fun =p

dont.... that wasn't my point of letting you know... he might be nice and all, he might also been lied too!!! who knows... but anyways... Cameras capturing souls!!! comon man, who would believe that!! definatly not people who have cars, computers and dsl!!! it's the 21st centuary ;)

If they get their picture taken, they can't do much about it anyway. They can't just sit there thinking "damn, that guy took my soul. Well, what's done is done - shakrun" lol
